These answers summarise the service. The accepted purchase terms govern each transaction.
Questions answered
Useful detail before you decide.
What is the minimum transaction?
Your combined quote must be at least £75 before it can be accepted.
When is postage free?
For an accepted quote of £100 or more, we issue a prepaid label within one working day. From £75 to £99.99, you arrange and pay for postage.
When will I be paid?
We complete testing within 3 working days of receiving your RAM and update you if delayed. The owner sends a manual bank transfer within 2 working days after approval. Bank processing may affect arrival in your account; the website never initiates bank payments.
What if the RAM is different?
We document the discrepancy and may make a revised offer. You have 14 calendar days from the date we send it to respond, with a reminder before the deadline. You can accept or request the return route in the purchase terms. Silence is not acceptance, and later market-price changes do not reduce an accepted quote.
Who pays return postage?
Under our draft policy, we pay if the return results from our mistake or damage caused by us. If RAM is materially misdescribed or faulty for reasons not caused by us, the seller pays the actual tracked return-postage cost, with no extra handling or administration fee. Cost responsibility is disclosed before quote acceptance and the actual amount agreed before a charge or dispatch. Disputed responsibility is investigated first, without an automatic charge or deduction. The policy remains subject to legal review before launch.
Does delivery prove what was inside?
No. Tracking confirms delivery of a parcel, not its contents or condition. We record receipt and verification separately.
What if my RAM is not listed?
Submit the details and photographs for manual review. We aim to respond within one working day.
